It works as an independent platform for the support and promotion of local talent. It is not affiliated with other radio stations nor with music platforms. Its weekly schedule features exclusively locally produced programming, hosted and produced by local volunteers. KONR-LP is also available worldwide via live streaming to promote local talent beyond the community and in hopes to attract more sponsorships to support the project.
